6-10th November 2017
Mahindra & Mahindra (Automotive Division), Kandivali, Mumbai

Lean helps companies identify and eliminate unnecessary activities and processes that slow production and waste money and time. Using Lean, companies can increase production speed and process agility, and reduce costs simply by focusing more on the aspects of their business that matter the most. The concept of Lean is simple yet extremely effective. Organizations in both operational and transactional industries rely on Lean to help keep costs down while maintaining a high-quality standard.

Course Description

BMGI’s five-day Lean Practitioners’ Certification Program provides a comprehensive understanding of Lean for both manufacturing and service industry environments. Classroom training combines lectures with simulation exercises to give participants the chance to experience how processes interact, and understand the effects Lean principles can have on the processes. Participants create their own “processes” in the classroom, then use simulation to come up with ideal conditions that allow them to meet customer expectations for on-time delivery, lead time and profitability with least of resources and minimal time. Each Lean principle is covered in detail, using real life examples and case studies from successful Lean implementations. The class also sets the stage to implement SCORE™, BMGI’s proven methodology for running Lean Kaizen Events.

This intensive course, spread over 5 days, is designed to present Lean Methodologies in line with its original source, TPS, with many of the practical tools, techniques, concepts and working methods. The course also includes an intensive 5 Hours session on visit to Mahindra and Mahindra – Automotive Division to observe the Lean Practices followed by class room interaction on how to translate these in your respective work areas.
