CII-Exim Award / IMC Ramakrishna Bajaj Award

In India the following Award frameworks are available for organizations to use as assessment tools and to be evaluated against by external assessors:

• CII-Exim Bank Award for Business Excellence (modelled on the EFQM award) Click here to see the awards framework.

• Tata Business Excellence Model (for the Tata Group Companies - modelled on the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award)

The organization may choose to use the award criteria for internal assessment and may not apply for winning the award.

BMG Services Include –
BMG assists organizations with respect to the award criteria in the following ways:

• Executive Awareness and Support – Action planning with senior management on how to drive the journey of becoming world-class using the award criteria
• Developing Internal Experts – Training a core group to build in-house assessment capabilities vis-à-vis the award criteria
• Establishing the Current Status – The current status vis-à-vis the Award criteria is established based on which an action plan is developed.
• Train-the-Trainer Training – Training a team of internal trainers on cascading the message on the award criteria, its relevance and application in the entire organization
• Initiatives Management – Assisting the organization manage the various initiatives identified during the gap analysis.
• Internal Assessment – This provides the necessary feedback to ensure that the organization is on the right track. Using experienced examiners and the core group, this phase critically examines the implementation efforts against the criteria. This also serves as an effective mock-up to the final application process.
• Application Writing and/or Review – This involves drafting the application to be submitted to the assessing body. BMG can also review the application drafted by the organization and provide feedback.
• External Assessment Support – This involves supporting the organization in the site visit by the external assessors. This also includes assisting the organization develop corrective action plans based on the feedback on the application or site visit.
